Majesty Compelled // 1 Chronicles 29:11
1 Chronicles 29:11
Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
The Lord is definitely great, powerful, glorious, victorious, and majestic. His whole creation is the proof of these attributes of the living God. He possesses the heaven and the earth and all that is in it. However, His kingdom is not of this world. His kingdom is in heaven. But this doesn’t mean that He is not in control of this earth that we live in. He is certainly elevated above all people, things, authorities, and powers. They may not know this, but He is the head of all. Therefore, the only response that He deserves from us, His people, is our praises. Let us acknowledge that He is our one and only God and let us thank Him for the innumerable blessings He has poured and will still be pouring upon us.
